2023 (Junior): In his debut season as a Trojan, Baumbach etched his name in the OVC earning All-OVC First Team honors … Baumbach appeared and started in 52 games hitting a team high .372 batting average, team high .643 slugging percentage, and a team high .453 on-base percentage … Baumbach recorded 74 hits and 43 runs scored and led the team in RBI with 52 … In the OVC, Baumbach finished 1st in batting average (.372), 5th in slugging percentage (.643), 4th in hits (74), 7th in on-base percentage (.453), 7th in RBI (52), and 8th in total bases (128). 

Prior to Little Rock: Graduate of Trinity High School where he lettered all four years … In his time as a Trinity Trojan, he was a 3-time all-district selection, 2-time offensive MVP and an all-area selection once … Helped the Trojans to their deepest playoff run in school history … Attended Northeast Texas Community College out of high school and was there for 3 years … There he was first team all-conference and all-region at third base in his first year … Played in the 2021 NJCAA all-star game and was a 2022 honorable mention all-conference third baseman.

Personal: Son of Steve and Cynthia Baumbach … Has a younger sister Giselle … Intends to major in criminal justice with a minor in sports management and wants to pursue a career involving sports or forensics.
