Alex Burgess


Alex Burgess joins the Little Rock’s women’s soccer as an assistant coach, bringing 17 years of coaching experience at the club and semi-professional levels. 

Burgess most recently guided the Little Rock Rangers’ semi-professional women’s team to a national final in their first season under his leadership. Prior to that, he served as the Girls Director of Coaching at Arkansas Rising, helping prepare players for the collegiate level while coaching within the Elite Clubs National League (ECNL). During his tenure, he captured multiple state and league championships along with a US Youth Soccer Regional Championship.

Throughout his career, Burgess has built a reputation for developing players, elevating team performance, and fostering strong, competitive environments. At Little Rock, he will assist in all aspects of the program, including training, recruiting, and mentoring student-athletes. 

Burgess is from Manchester, England and graduated from the University of Central Arkansas. He currently resides in Little Rock.
