Brittany Peebles, a former UALR Trojan, returns to the women's soccer program as an assistant coach in 2008.
Peebles, a former three-year starter for the Trojans soccer team from 2000-02, comes to UALR after spending the 2007 season as an assistant coach at Hendrix College. While at Hendrix, Peebles' duties included assisting with recruiting, training the goalkeepers and scheduling team meetings and activities. Prior to Hendrix, Peebles began her coaching career at her alma mater, William Carey, as an assistant coach for the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Peebles has also gained additional coaching experience with the Little Rock Futbol Club, winning a U-11 state championship, and the Hattiesburg Youth Soccer Association. She also holds a USSF National C & D Licenses, as well as a NSCAA National Diploma and Goalkeeper I and II diplomas.
Peebles finished her playing career at UALR playing in 55 games, starting 51 of those. She had seven points (2 G, 3 A) in 2001 and nine points in 2002 (3 G, 3 A). Peebles earned six career assists, which is tied for 13th all-time at UALR. Peebles transferred to William Carey University for her senior season where she helped lead the Crusaders to the Regional Final Four and a Gulf Coast Conference Championship in 2003. Peebles, formerly Brittany Axford, received her Bachelor's Degree in health science and physical education from William Carey. Upon completion of her bachelor’s, Peebles remained at William Carey and received a Master’s Degree in counseling and psychology.
