Sydney Drinkwater

Sydney Drinkwater joined Little Rock soccer team as its goalkeeper coach and director of operations in July 2017.
 
Drinkwater comes to the Trojans with experience in the collegiate and club soccer worlds. Most recently, she was a goalkeeper instructor at Team Boca Soccer Club in Boca Raton, Florida. During her playing years, Drinkwater was an All-Central Region First Team goalie at Florida Atlantic University (FAU).
 
Drinkwater spent three years on the pitch for the Owls at FAU, setting multiple program records. She tied the team's single-season shutout record with 10 in 2015 and set the career shutout record (28) during the 2016 season. She was then named FAU's Athlete of the Year in Spring 2017.
 
As a senior, Drinkwater was named the Conference USA Goalkeeper of the Year and also earned a spot on the league's First Team. She finished her FAU career with a .829 save percentage and a 0.89 goals against average, first and second all-time at FAU, respectively.
 
Since February, Drinkwater has been coaching at Team Boca Soccer Club. There, she executes practice plans with youth goalkeepers to improve their technical, tactical and mental approach to the game. Before her time with Team Boca, Drinkwater also gained coaching experience at four soccer camps in Florida: FAU's Spring Break Camp, the USF Elite Girls Soccer Camp, the Camp Chance Soccer Camp and the Merritt Island High School Soccer Camp.
