Todd Bourdo will begin his 17th season on the Little Rock volleyball staff in 2020. Bourdo was promoted to associate head coach in April of 2017 after serving 10 seasons as the program's assistant coach.
He was promoted to first assistant coach of the Little Rock volleyball program in February of 2008 after serving for four seasons as a volunteer assistant coach.Â
Since joining the program full-time in 2008, Bourdo has helped the Trojans pick up 16 All-Sun Belt selections, 44 Sun Belt Student-Athlete of the Week honors, four Offensive Student-Athlete of the Year awards, one Defensive Student-Athlete of the Year award, one Freshman of the Year award, three AVCA All-Region Team honors and two AVCA All-American Honorable Mentions. He also helped the 2014 team go 30-5 overall with the best undefeated record in Sun Belt Conference history at 20-0 while also assisting Little Rock to its first-ever AVCA ranking at No. 24 and to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
Bourdo came to Little Rock after coaching at Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Ark. from 1997-2004. He has also coached the Arkansas Junior Olympics team since 1999.
Bourdo completed training in the United State Air Force in 1984.
A native of Muskegon, Michigan, Bourdo graduated from Jacksonville High School in Jacksonville, Ark. in 1980.
