At Airline HS: An All-State selection who guided the Vikings to three district titles … Named District, City and Parish Most Valuable Player as a prep … Averaged 14.4 points, 6.6 assists, seven rebounds and 2.6 steals per game as a senior … A two-time District Most Valuable Player, he earned a spot on the All-State Team as a junior after averaging 15 points, seven rebounds and seven assists per game … Led Airline to a 24-9 record and a 6-0 district mark on the way to district and bi-district titles, and a spot in the quarterfinals of the state tournament … Dished out a school-record 13 assists in a game during his sophomore year … Played for head coach Chris White … Won an AAU National Championship with the Louisiana Roundballers … Also played AAU ball for the Texas D1 Ambassadors.
