Albert White’s wrestling journey is one defined by historic achievements and championship pedigree. A product of the famed Harvey Twisters wrestling club in Illinois, White became one of the most decorated high school wrestlers in the nation, winning four Illinois state titles and a Junior National freestyle championship, earning recognition as the No. 3 overall recruit in the Class of 2007.
White’s college career began at North Iowa Area Community College, where he played a pivotal role in the program's relaunch. He compiled a dominant 31–3 record and captured the 2008 NJCAA National Championship at 149 pounds, marking the program’s first national title since 1976. He then transferred to Oklahoma State University, where he competed under legendary coach John Smith and further solidified his reputation as an elite competitor.
Following his competitive career, White transitioned into coaching, bringing the same intensity and standard of excellence to the high school ranks in Oklahoma. He served as head coach at Edmond Memorial and later at Cushing High School, where he guided the Tigers to a 4th-place finish at the 2021 Oklahoma 4A State Championships and coached multiple state champions, including athletes who went on to wrestle at NC State and the University of the Cumberlands.
Now at Little Rock, White brings a championship mindset, elite experience, and a proven ability to develop wrestlers at every level—continuing his lifelong mission of building winners on and off the mat. Coach White also has two children.
