Prior to Little Rock: Three-time 6A Kansas High School State champion.... Runner-up as a freshman.... Finished his junior campaign with a 46-4 record.... Wrestled for the club KCTC.... NHSCA runner-up.

Personal: Son of Mark and Becky Slyter.... Has 11 siblings, six brothers and five sisters.... Plans to major in nursing.
