2010 Outdoor Track Season:  Recorded career-high in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Sun Belt Championships placing second and earning All-Sun Belt honors in 9:16.52 ranking him fourth in UALR career records…Also recorded a time of 9:28.59 in the steeplechase at the Beach Invitational…Recorded season-high in the 1,500-meter run at the Mt. Sac Relays with a time of 3:51.18…Recorded highest finish in the 1,500 meters at the UCA Relays winning the event in 4:07.04…Earned All-Sun Belt honors in the 1,500 meters at the SBC Championships placing third in 4:00.46…Also recorded a time of 3:52.99 in the 1,500 meters at the Stanford Invite for a 12th place finish…Recorded season-high and highest finish in the 5,000-meter run at the UCA Relays winning the event in 15:37.77…Competed in the 4x400-meter relay at the UCA Relays placing second at second leg in 3:30.49 and at the ULM Warhawk Classic placing fifth at first leg in 3:30.87…Recorded season-high and highest finish in the 800-meter run at the ULM Warhawk Classic winning the event in 1:54.96….Graduated in May with a degree in health science.

2010 Indoor Track Season:  Recorded career-high in the 3,000-meter run at the ASU Kickoff Klassic in 8:39.65 ranking him third in UALR career records…Recorded highest finish in the 3,000 meters at the Arkansas State Invitational winning the event in 8:44.74…Recorded career-high and set the UALR school record in the mile at the Arkansas Final Qualifier recording a time of 4:04.38…Recorded highest finish in the mile at the Arkansas State Invitational winning the event in 4:12.58…Also recorded times for the mile at the ASU Kickoff Klassic placing second in 4:08.87, the Iowa State Classic placing tenth in 4:09.84, and the Sun Belt Championships placing second and earning All-Sun Belt honors in 4:12.29…Recorded second place finish as fourth leg of the Distance Medley Relay at the SBC Championships in 10:07.94.

2009 Cross Country Season:  Top Trojan finisher in all but one meet this season while helping the men’s team to be ranked as high as No. 7 in the region…Earned All-Sun Belt Conference honors after placing seventh out of 80 runners at the 2009 SBC Championships and leading the team to a third place finish…Earned Sun Belt Conference Runner of the Week honors after winning the Arkansas Tech Twilight four-mile in 19:48.20 and helping the team to their third-straight first place finish…Recorded career-high in the 8K at the Greater Louisville Classic placing 28 out of 334 runners in 24:46.43 and ranking him third in UALR career records…Recorded career-high in the 10K at the Chile Pepper Festival placing 45th out of 243 runners in 31:21.83 ranking him third in UALR career records…Placed 47th at the NCAA South Central Region in 33:13.0 over the 10K and helping team tied for eighth place…Started season with placing eighth out of 207 runners at the Brooks Memphis Twilight over the four-mile course and helping team to second place finish.

2009 Outdoor Track Season:  Qualified for second-straight NCAA Mideast Regional in the 1,500-meter run at the Stanford Invitational setting the UALR career record in 3:46.50 and ranking him second in the Sun Belt Conference...Placed second in the 1,500 meters at the Sun Belt Championships in 3:51.46 and 21st at the NCAA Mideast Regional in 3:59.05...Recorded career-high and highest finish in the 800-meter dash at the LSU Alumni Gold placing sixth in 1:51.56 ranking him second in the Sun Belt and third in UALR career records...Recorded career-high and highest finish in the 5,000-meter run at the Hendrix Invitational winning the event in 14:34.18 ranking him third in UALR career records and fifth in the Sun Belt.

2008 Cross Country Season:  Recorded career-high in the 10K at the NCAA South Central Regional placing 40th out of 118 runners with a time of 32:33.7 ranking him 11th in UALR career records...Recorded season-high in the 8K at the UALR Open recording a time of 26:16.71 and helping his team to a first place finish...Earned Sun Belt Conference Male Runner of the Week after winning the Arkansas Tech Twilight with a time of 19:58 over the four mile course and helping the Trojans to a first place finish...Placed 21st at the Sun Belt Conference Championships recording a time of 26:47.71 for the 8K and helping the team to a second place finish...Out of 238 runners, placed 19th at the Brooks Memphis Twilight 8K in 26:19.53...Placed tenth in the SLC Pre-Conference Meet with a time of 27:31.00 for the 8K.

2008 Outdoor Track Season:  Became the first Sun Belt Championships Men’s Top Scorer in ten years scoring 24 total points...Qualified for his first NCAA Mideast Regional winning the 1,500-meter run at the Sun Belt Championships with a time of 3:56.75 ranking him fourth in the Sun Belt, eighth in UALR career records, No. 139 in the nation, and No. 33 in the Mideast Region...Placed 20th in the NCAA Mideast Regional 1,500 meters prelims recording a time of 3:57.74...Also competed in the 1,500 meters at the Hendrix Invitational placing fourth in 4:01.12 and the John McDonnell Invitaional placing ninth in 3:58.04...Recorded career high and highest finish in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the Harding Invitational winning the event in 9:31.90 ranking him second in the Sun Belt and fifth in UALR career records...Also placed second at the Sun Belt Championships in the 3,000 steeplechase with a time of 9:45.91...Recorded season high and highest finish in the 800-meter run at the Harding Invitational winning the event in 1:55.60...Also placed fifth in the 800 meters at the ULM Warhawk Classic placing fifth in 1:58.88...Recorded career high and highest finish in the 5,000-meter run at the Rhodes College Open placing second in 14:54.90 ranking him third in the Sun Belt and fifth in UALR career records...Also placed third in the 5,000 meters at the SBC Championships with a time of 15:20.92.

2008 Indoor Track Season:  Earned Sun Belt Conference Track Athlete of the Week and set the new school record and the fastest time in the Sun Belt Conference as the first leg of the Distance Medley relay team that recorded a time of 9:58.28 at the Iowa State Classic for seventh place along with John Lamb, Vladimir Findra, and Ondrej Puskar...Recorded highest finish on the Distance Medley team with Findra, Puskar, and Jeremie Schwartz at the Sun Belt Championships with a second place finish with a time of 10:12.31...Recorded season-best and highest finish in the mile run at the Arkansas State Invitational placing third in 4:21.83... Also placed third in the mile at the ASU Kickoff Klassic with a time of 4:25.44...Recorded season-best in the 3,000 meters at the Arkansas State Invitational placing fourth with a time of 8:51.01...Recorded highest finish in the 3,000 meters at the Arkansas State Kickoff Klassic placing third in 9:05.83...Placed eight in the mile with a time of 9:05.83 and 15th in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:58.95 at the Arkansas Invitational.

2007 Outdoor Track Season:  Recorded highest finish and season best in the 3,000 meter steeplechase at the Ole Miss Invitational winning the event in 9:50.78 ranking him tenth in UALR career records and ninth in the Sun Belt Conference...Placed tenth in the 3,000 steeplechase at the Sun Belt Championships placing tenth in 10:04.92...Recorded season best in the 1,500 meters at the SBC Championships placing 11th with a time of 4:06.54...Recorded season best in the 5,000 meters at the Mississippi Invitational placing sixth in 15:35.51.

2007 Indoor Track Season:  Recorded season best in the Mile at the Iowa State Classic with a time of 4:20.57 ranking him eighth in UALR career records and seventh in the Sun Belt Conference...Competed as the fourth leg on the 4x400 relay team at the Sun Belt Championships placing third in 3:20.36 ranking them seventh in UALR career records...Competed as third leg on the Distance Medley Relay team at the Iowa State Classic with a team time of 10:06.59 ranking them second in UALR career records and first in the Sun Belt and at the Sun Belt Championships placing third in 10:19.80 ranking the team fifth in UALR career records.

2006 Cross Country Season:  Recorded highest finish at the UALR Open placing eighth with a time of 27:59.83 over the 8K course and helping lead their team to a second place finish...At the ASU Invite, placed tenth over the 6K course with a time of 21:31.47 while leading his team to a second place finish...Recorded season best in the 10K at the Chile Pepper Invitational with a time of 34:13.7...Competed at the NCAA South Central Regional Meet.

2006 Indoor Track Season:  Recorded best time in the mile at the Iowa State Classic finishing 18th in a time of 4:28.66 ranking him 18th in UALR Indoor Track records...Recorded highest finish at the ASU Kickoff Klassic placing eighth in the 3,000 meters with a time of 9:07.88...Placed 12th at the Saluki Booster in the mile in a time of 4:32.25.

2005 Cross Country Season:  Recorded fastest time in the 8K at the UALR Open with a 27:26.99 and helping his team to a first place finish...Recorded highest finish at the ASU Cross Country Invitational finishing 14th in a time of 28:02.00 over the 8K course...Competed in the Memphis Twilight Cross Country Classic finishing with a time of 21:47.70 over four miles, the Chile Pepper Invitational finishing in 34:08.4, in the Sun Belt Championships finishing in a time of 27:35.57 and helping his team to a fifth place finish, and the NCAA Division I South Central Regional recording a time of 35:42.30 for the 10K course.

High School: A seven time individual state champion, Batey received all-state honors in cross country and track his junior and senior seasons...Earned all-conference honors his junior and senior seasons...His senior season, he won the individual state cross country meet and the indoor and outdoor 1600 meters and 3200 meters titles...His junior season, he won the indoor and outdoor 1600 meters titles...Named to the All-Arkansas Track and Field Team his junior and senior year...Personal bests in 800 meters (1:57), 1600 meters (4:21), 3200 meters (9:33), and 5 K (15:19).
