Biography
2005 Cross Country Season: Finished as the top Trojan at the ASU Cross Country Invitational with a tenth place finish recording a time of 27:21.00 at the 8K race...Recorded his best time this season at the Sun Belt Conference Championships with a time of 27:18.01 over the 8K race helping his team to a fifth place finish...Placed 17th at the UALR Open in a time of 27:21.24 helping his team to a first place finish...Competed at the Memphis Twilight Cross Country Classic finishing in a time of 21:51.28 over four miles, in the Chile Pepper Invitational finishing with a time of 33:29.7, and in the NCAA Division I South Central Regional recording a time of 35:57.65 for the 10K race.
2005 Outdoor Season: Recorded a personal best in the 800 meters at the Vanderbilt Track and Field Invitational placing third in a time of 1:53.08 which places him fourth on UALR outdoor track records...Recorded top finishes in the 800 meters at Vanderbilt, at the Sun Belt Conference meet finishing third in 1:53.68, and at the Indian Classic finishing third in 1:56.51...Finsihed 7th in the 800 meters at the Mississippi Invitational with a time of 1:53.43...Raced twice in the 1500 meters finishing 12th at Vanderbilt in a time of 4:03.55 and 14th at the Tulsa Duels in a time of 4:07.81.
2004-05 Indoor Season: Finished sixth in the 800 meters at the Sun Belt Conference Championships with mark of 1:55.69...In the 800 meters at the Iowa State Classic, ran a 1:54.82 and placed 76th...At the ASU Kick-off Klassic, finished 10th in the 800 meters in 1:59.08...Paced three UALR teammates in the 800 meters at the Saluki Booster Invitational, placing third in 1:58.25.
2004 Cross Country Season: Recorded UALR's second-best showing at the Sun Belt Conference Championships, finishing 24th in the 8,000-meter race in 27:35.1...Began collegiate career with 31st-place showing at the Saluki Invitational with a time of 27:05.85 over the 8K course.
High School: Named all-conference in 2002 and '03...Finished third in the 800 meters at the all-state meet in 2003...Also placed 11th in state cross country in '03...Named all-section in track in 2003 and '03 and in cross country in 2003...Named cross country team most improved in 2002 and most valuable in 2003, while being named track most valuable in both 2002 and 2003.
