First Pitch Banquet Scheduled for Jan. 29

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock baseball will hold its First Pitch Banquet on Jan. 29 in Ledbetter Hall of the Donaghey Student Center with special guest Cliff Lee attending the event. The banquet is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
 
"We're very excited to announce the first-ever First Pitch Banquet for Little Rock baseball," head coach Chris Curry said. "This will be a chance for the city of Little Rock to officially meet our team and share some laughs and cool moments."
 
Fans will get a chance to meet the team, and all fans in attendance will receive an autographed item by Lee.
 
"We appreciate Cliff Lee supporting our program, being an old teammate of mine at Meridian Community College," Curry said. "He's always been willing to help and give back, and we thank him for showing up."
 
Single tickets can be purchased for $25 while a corporate table with eight seats for the event can be purchased for $500.
 
"We're going to have a fun night, good food and a "Where Are They Now" segment with one of our important alumni," Curry added. "It's going to be a good event altogether as we celebrate our team and learn more about the upcoming season. It'll be a great kickoff to the 2016 season."
