Box Score TROY, Ala.?The University of Arkansas-Little Rock volleyball team won their fourth straight conference match by sweeping Troy University on the road 30-19, 30-28, 30-23 Friday. The Trojans improve to 14-8 on the season and 5-2 in conference action.
Ana Carolina Buccini recorded her sixth straight double-double with a team high 11 kills and 13 digs.
Larisa Durmisevic knocked down her ninth straight double-digit kill match with 10, while Megan Naborowski led the team with 15 digs and recorded her 16th straight double-digit dig match.
UALR came out strong the first game hitting .375 with 14 kills while limiting their opponents to a .086 attack percentage.
The Trojans jumped to the early lead and rattled off as many as five consecutive points to broaden their lead and win the first game.
UALR jumped to another early lead in game two leading by five points at the midway point.
Troy fought back to stay within striking distance.
An attack error by UALR allowed Troy to come within one point 29-28.
A service error by Troy finished game two for the Trojans.
The third game was all UALR with the Trojans knocking down 18 kills and hitting .326.
A final kill by Buccini completed the sweep.
Arkansas-Little Rock continues conference action Saturday against the University of South Alabama in Mobile, Ala. Match begins at 4 p.m.
