Box Score MOBILE, Ala.?The University of Arkansas-Little Rock volleyball team end the weekend with their third straight sweep defeating South Alabama 30-20, 30-23, 30-19 Saturday. The Trojans recorded 50 kills and 50 digs on the match.
Ana Carolina Buccini recorded her seventh straight double-double with a team high 12 kills and 13 digs.
Larisa Durmisevic knocked down her 10th straight double-digit kill match with 10, while Megan Naborowski contributed her 17th double-digit dig match with a team high 16 digs.
The Trojans hit .294 and limited their opponents to .078.
In game one, Ivanka Davidova, Buccini, and Sarah Breedlove knocked down four kills in the win.
UALR rattled off as many as seven consecutive points.
In game two, Buccini once again scored four kills, while Amila Baracovic, Davidova, and Durmisevic contributed three a piece.
South Alabama took an early lead in the top of the game. UALR fought back from a five point deficit to knock down seven straight points to take the lead.
Two kills by Davidova and an error by the home team sealed the game two victory.
In the final game, four Trojans knocked down four kills a piece. UALR hit .200 and limited South Alabama to -.083.
Baracovic sealed the sweep with a final kill.
Arkansas-Little Rock continues conference action on Tuesday against in-state rivals Arkansas State in Jonesboro, Ark. Match begins at 7 p.m.
