Box Score JONESBORO, Ark.?The University of Arkansas-Little Rock volleyball team won their sixth straight conference match by sweeping Arkansas State for the second time this season 30-23, 30-28, 30-25 Tuesday. The Trojans are now 16-8 overall and 7-2 in the conference with their fourth straight sweep.
Ivanka Davidova led the team in hitting percentage with a .591 mark and knocked down 13 kills with no errors on 22 attempts.
Larisa Durmisevic recorded 13 kills, while Megan Naborowski contributed a team high of 13 digs.
UALR hit .267 for the match while limited the Lady Indians to .123.
In the first game, the teams kept in stride with the score tying 11 times, until the middle of the game when two straight Arkansas State attack errors changed the momentum in UALR's favor.
Two Lady Indian errors finished the game.
Durmisevic knocked down six kills in game one.
Arkansas State stayed within reach in game two capitalizing on UALR errors later in the game.
An attack error by the Trojans allowed the Lady Indians to come within one point of a tie, but Durmisevic knocked down the game two winning kill.
Ana Carolina Buccini contributed five kills in the second game.
UALR stepped it up in game three hitting .308, while limiting Arkansas State to .135.
Buccini knocked down the final kill for the sweep.
Arkansas-Little Rock plays their last home match against Denver Friday. Match begins at 7 p.m.
