UALR Ends Weekend with Win Over Texas-Arlington

ARLINGTON, Texas—After
losing the first game, Arkansas-Little Rock charged back the next three to
win over the University of Texas-Arlington (27-30, 30-27, 30-26, 30-24)
Saturday. Four Trojans scored in double-digit kills.
Ivanka Davidova
recorded a career and team high with 26 digs, while Amila Baracovic
knocked down a career high of 20 kills.
Ana Carolina
Buccini completed her fifth double-double with 15 kills and 14 digs.
Megan Naborowski
tied her career high in digs with 23.
The Trojans (6-5)
led in hitting percentage all four game ending the match with a .323 mark.
UALR kept the first
game close, but Texas-Arlington (2-6) rattled off three consecutive points
at the end to win.
The Trojans took
control of the next three games.
Larisa Durmisevic
knocked down seven kills hitting .778 the second game, while Davidova
recorded the same stats the third game.
Davidova continued
her streak the fourth game with 10 kills and a .750 hitting percentage.
Arkansas-Little
Rock continues tournament action next weekend at the Mississippi State
University Microtel Classic in Starkville, Miss. The Trojans open on
Friday against Tennessee-Martin at 4:30 p.m.
