Box Score TROY, Ala.?The UALR volleyball team won their second straight Sun Belt Conference match against Troy 3-0 (30-23, 30-25, 30-17) Saturday. The Trojans extended their match winning streak to two over Troy.
Amila Barakovic led the team with 17 kills and recorded a .421 attack percentage, while Anita Bucur recorded 14 kills and a .414 attack percentage.
Courtney Hays led the team with 14 digs, and Dilyana Deyanova recorded five service aces.
Troy jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in game one, but UALR charged backing tying the score at three on a service ace by Deyanova.
The score would tie nine times, before UALR knocked down five straight points to have the 19-17 advantage.
UALR won the game on a kill by Barakovic.
In game two, UALR knocked down 23 kills and recorded a .347 attack percentage.
UALR won the second game on kills by Deyanova and Sanda Dzile.
In game three, UALR recorded their highest attack percentage of the match with a .429 mark.
UALR scored as many as six consecutive points and won the game and match on a service ace by Deyanova.
UALR returns to the Jack Stephens Center on Friday October 20 to face Florida Atlantic. Match is set to begin at 7 p.m.
