Box Score LITTLE ROCK, Ark.?Despite winning game one and having four Trojans in double-digit kills and five in double-digit digs, the UALR volleyball team lost their sixth straight match to New Orleans 3-1 (30-22, 20-30, 26-30, 28-30) at the Jack Stephens Center Friday. The Trojans fall to 12-21 overall and 5-11 in the Sun Belt Conference for the season.
Amila Barakovic recorded her 18th double-double of the season with a team high of 18 kills and 19 digs, while Ivanka Davidova also knocked down 18 kills.
Anita Bucur and Dilyana Deyanova each recorded 11kills for the match.
Courtney Hays led the team with 21 digs, while Marina Marinova recorded 16 digs.
In game one, UALR took the early lead and sustained it knocking down as many as eight consecutive points to take the 11-2 advantage.
An attack error by the Privateers gave the Trojans the 30-22 win.
In game two, both UALR and UNO knocked down 10 kills, but the Trojans committed 10 errors.
The Privateers scored as many as four consecutive points and won the game on a UALR attack error.
The Trojans recorded 13 kills on 10 errors in game three, while UNO recorded 18 kills on nine errors.
The score tied seven times before UNO knocked down five straight points to take the 22-17 lead.
A kill by Lindsey Boler sealed the 30-26 game three win.
In game four, UNO jumped to a 5-1 lead early, but the Trojans bounced back tying the score at 11 on a kill by Davidova.
The lead changed hands with the Privateers keeping the lead.
UALR came within one at 26-25 on a UNO attack error.
With the score 29-27 in the Privateer's favor, a block by Jaci Bayley and Hillary Carr won the game and the match for UNO.
