Box Score LAS CRUCES, N.M. - Jennae Cambra scored two first half goals to lead the New Mexico State Aggies (6-2) past the UALR Trojans (3-5) by a final of 3-0 Sunday afternoon in Las Cruces, N.M. The Trojans outshot the Aggies, 13-11, but were unable to find the back as New Mexico State goalkeeper Jessica Schutter stopped all four shots put on frame.
Cambra scored the first of her two goals just seven minutes into the contest, taking a pass from teammate Katie Smith and beating the keeper from six yards out. Cambra found the back of the net again in the 43rd minute, accepting a helper from Daisy Hernandez and burying her second goal of the half from 15 yards out.
The Aggies' lead would stay at two until the final minute of the match. At the 89:17 mark, Smith scored unassisted when she scored off a rebounded shot from 15 yards away, bringing the match to its 3-0 final.
A trio of New Mexico natives led UALR on offense, as seniors Jacquelyn Paz, Aubrey Tafoya and Christina Veasley each put up two shots in the match. 
In goal, junior Michelle Pittman made five saves while playing the entire 90 minutes.
UALR led New Mexico State in corner kicks, 2-1, and committed eight fouls to the Aggies' 10. 
The Trojans will be back in action on Friday, September 23 when they host UCA at Burns Park. First kick is slated for 7 p.m.
