GREEN BAY, Wisc. – The Green Bay women's basketball team opened the game on a 15-0 run and never looked back, defeating Little Rock 57-31 in the Preseason WNIT Second Round at the Kress Events Center on Sunday afternoon.

The Trojans were led on offense by
Monique Townson's 12 points.
Sharde' Collins was the team's top rebounder with six.

With the loss, Little Rock will move to the consolation bracket and play one more game as part of the Preseason WNIT. The Trojans' consolation game opponent, date and time has not yet been determined.

Little Rock will play one of the following six teams in the consolation round: Notre Dame, Fordham, Washington, Colorado State, Nebraska or Missouri. Those six teams are set to play their Second Round games on Monday. The Trojans' consolation game will be played next weekend.

During Sunday's game, sophomore
Kiara Scott saw her first career minutes, playing seven minutes and picking up four rebounds.
Anna Hurlburt picked up the first 7 points of her career as well including a 3-pointer late in the fourth quarter to finish second on the team in scoring.

The Trojans will stay on the road for their next contest as they head to Oklahoma on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. tipoff. The Sooners are currently the No. 16 team in the AP Poll and the No. 18 team in the Coaches Poll.
