SPRINGFIELD, Mo. – The Little Rock women's basketball team put together a 19-0 run in the second half at Missouri State on Monday night, changing the game from a tight contest to a comfortable 58-47 win at JQH Arena on Monday night.

With the teams tied at 28-28 with six minutes remaining in the third quarter, the Trojans' offense caught fire. Little Rock (3-4) scored 16 points in those last six minutes including an 11-0 run that saw 6 points from
Sharde' Collins, and the Trojans took a 9-point lead into the final period.

That scoring streak expanded to 19-0 in the fourth quarter when the Bears (2-4) went the first four minutes of the period without a basket. All told, Missouri State's drought lasted eight minutes of game time. Little Rock went from trailing 35-33 to leading 52-35 before the run ended.

Collins topped the Trojans in scoring with 16 points, and
Kyra Collier added 11 points and seven rebounds.
Kaitlyn Pratt scored 9 points, and
Ronjanae DeGray had 6 points and seven rebounds.
Monique Townson led the team with five assists while also adding 9 points and four rebounds.
Raeyana DeGray also added a career high 5 points including her first made 3-pointer.

The win was Little Rock's first on the road this year, third ever against Missouri State and first ever against the Bears on the road.

Missouri State started the game hot, getting out to a 10-2 lead in the first four minutes. But Little Rock scored 11 of the next 14 points including a 9-0 run in a two-minute span to send the game to the second quarter tied at 13-13. The game remained close throughout the second quarter, with Little Rock taking a narrow 26-24 lead into halftime.

The Trojans are back at home later this week, taking on Oral Roberts at the Jack Stephens Center on Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
