LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock volleyball head coach Van Compton has announced the Trojans' 29-match schedule for 2016 which includes a five-team home tournament and 11 total home matches at the Jack Stephens Center.

Season tickets are now on sale as well with a general admission price set at $45. Fans can also take advantage of the $99 Flex Pack that includes 20 ticket vouchers good for any home match during the year. To purchase tickets, call 501.565.8257 or fill out the online season ticket form.

Little Rock's schedule includes matches against four 2015 NCAA Tournament competitors in SMU, Florida State, Coastal Carolina and Arkansas State.

Eight of the Trojans' 2016 opponents had an RPI of 100 or better last season and include SMU, UTSA, Oklahoma, Baylor, North Texas, Coastal Carolina, Appalachian State and Arkansas State.

The Trojans will begin the season on Aug. 26 in Dallas, Texas, as they face host SMU, Montana and UTSA.

Little Rock then comes home to host its first-ever non-conference tournament at the Jack Stephens Center against Oklahoma, UAPB, Mississippi State and UT Martin on Sept. 1-3. The Trojans have only played five non-conference games at the Jack Stephens Center since the building's inception in 2005.

"We're excited about hosting a tournament this year," Compton said. "We have quality teams coming in. It's encouraging to me that we have a good enough reputation to attract teams that want to come play us, and it will be a lot of fun to have those teams here. This is kind of a new beginning for us as we host a non-conference tournament for the first time, and we always want to invite quality competition when we have the opportunity."

Little Rock will travel to Tallahassee, Fla., for its third non-conference tournament as it faces Florida A&M, Baylor and host Florida State on Sept. 8-9.

The Trojans will conclude non-conference action with a trip to Nacogdoches, Texas, to face host Stephen F. Austin, North Texas and Incarnate Word on Sept. 16-17.

"We hope this tough non-conference schedule prepares us for own challenging Sun Belt schedule," Compton said. "You have to play the tougher teams to grow."

Little Rock will begin conference action on the road at new Sun Belt Conference opponent Coastal Carolina on Sept. 23 before traveling to Appalachian State on Sept. 25.

The Trojans' first Sun Belt matches at the Jack Stephens Center will be against Louisiana and ULM on Sept. 30 and Oct. 1.

Little Rock then goes on a four-game road trip with stops at UT Arlington (Oct. 7), Texas State (Oct. 8), ULM (Oct. 14) and Louisiana (Oct. 16).

The Trojans return home for consecutive matches against Troy and South Alabama on Oct. 21 and 22.

Little Rock then begins a three-game road trip with its first stop happening in Jonesboro to face archrival Arkansas State on Oct. 24. The Trojans then travel to Georgia State and Georgia Southern for matches on Oct. 28 and 29.

Little Rock will wrap up the regular season at home against Texas State (Nov. 4), UT Arlington (Nov. 6) and Arkansas State (Nov. 12).

The Trojans will look to punch their ticket to the 2016 NCAA Tournament at the Sun Belt Conference Volleyball Championship in Arlington, Texas, on Nov. 18-20.
