MONROE, La. – The Little Rock soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision against ULM on Friday evening, with the Warhawks getting their game-winning goal in the 63rd minute.

Alexiss Trudeau headed a ball into the net off a corner kick to give the home team the lead and eventually the victory.

The Trojans were unable to beat ULM keeper Brooke-Lynn Scroggins, who finished the day with 12 saves. Little Rock attempted two corner kicks in the final five minutes, one of them ending with a
Sairra Tucker shot, but Scroggins controlled it. She also saved a
Shannon Shields shot with 30 seconds remaining to preserve her shutout.

Sara Small made four saves in the loss.
Quin Wilkes led all Trojans with four shots. Shields and Arola Aparicio had two shots apiece.
The Trojans outshot the Warhawks 15-10 including a 12-5 edge in shots on goal.

Little Rock returns home on Sunday for a matchup with South Alabama, the three-time defending Sun Belt Conference Tournament champions. The Trojans and Jaguars are set for a 1 p.m. kickoff.
