PALM DESERT, Calif. – Little Rock finished tied for seventh place in the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate at The Classic Club on Sunday. The Trojans posted a team score of 882 over three rounds while playing their first event of the spring season.

Oregon won the event with a team score of 838. Colorado (847) was nine strokes back in second place. Texas Tech (850) rounded out the top three.

The Trojans tied with host Wyoming for seventh place. UNC Wilmington (873) finished alone in sixth place.

Oregon teammates Wyndham Clark and Norman Xiong both finished at 11 under par to tie for individual medalist honors. Colorado's Jeremy Paul and TCU's Stefano Mazzoli tied for third place at 8 under par.

Tyler Reynolds was Little Rock's top finisher. Reynolds tied for 27
th place, finishing at 2 over par following a 7-over 79 on Sunday.

Zach Coats carded a 1-under 71 on Sunday to move up 15 spots into a tie for 31
st place. Coats ended the tournament at 3 over par.

Logan Pate finished at 9 over par.
Noah Tullos was 10 over and
George Trujillo was 11 over.

Next up for Little Rock are the Houston-hosted Border Olympics starting Friday, March 10.
