COLUMBIA, Mo. – Little Rock placed fifth of 18 teams at the Mizzou-hosted Tiger Invitational on Tuesday. The Trojans combined for a team score of 295 in the final round – the team's low round of the tournament – to finish at 898.
Mizzou placed first with a team score of 857, 18 strokes better than runner-up Northern Illinois (875). Austin Peay (890) was third, followed by SIU Edwardsville (893) in fourth place. Little Rock finished a shot better than sixth-place Northern Iowa (899).
Linus Lilliedahl of Mizzou finished at 5 under par to capture individual medalist honors. Lilliedahl began the day in fourth place, but fired a 4-under 68 in his final round to climb the leaderboard. Austin Peay's Erik Hedberg and Mizzou's Hayden Buckley tied for second place at 4 under par.
Zach Coats was the Trojans' top finisher. Coats used a 2-over 74 on Tuesday to finish at 6 over par.
Noah Tullos finished at 7 over par to tie for 18
th place.
Tyler Reynolds shot a 2-over 74 in the final round to move nine spots up the leaderboard. Reynolds ended the tournament at 11 over par and tied for 31
st place.
Brady Edwards also used a strong final round to move up in the individual standings. Edwards rose 21 spots thanks to a 1-over 73 on Tuesday. He also tied for 31
st place at 11 over par.
Danial Durisic finished at 17 over par after shooting 8-over 80 in the final round.
Tuesday closes Little Rock's regular season. The Trojans resume play at the Sun Belt Championship in Miramar Beach, Fla starting Sunday, April 23. The three-day conference tournament will be played at Raven Golf Club.
