LITTLE ROCK – A six-game road trip begins this weekend as Little Rock baseball (15-26, 6-12 Sun Belt) travels to Georgia Southern (28-14, 11-7) for a three-game series in Statesboro, Georgia. The action will begin on Friday night at 5:30 p.m. (CT) at J.I. Clements Stadium. The second game will occur on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. (CT) before wrapping up on Sunday at noon (CT).

The Trojans faced the Eagles last season in Statesboro and came away with a series win after winning the final two games by scores of 3-2 and 17-8. The two then met again in
the first round of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament and saw Georgia Southern take the win. The Trojans have an all-time record of 6-16 against the Eagles with the series dating back to 1981 when both were members of the Trans America Athletic Conference. In games played in Statesboro, Georgia Southern has a one-game advantage at 5-4.
