LITTLE ROCK – With the 2017 regular season winding down, Little Rock baseball will play its final home game on Tuesday at 6 p.m., against Central Arkansas at Gary Hogan Field. Tuesday night's game will be the series-deciding game of this year's Rock 'n' Roar Rivalry series.

The Trojans will host UAMS Strike Out Stroke Night at Gary Hogan Field on Tuesday. Fans will want to show up early as AirEvac will deliver tomorrow's game balls via helicopter at 5:40 p.m.

Little Rock and Central Arkansas will have their 75th all-time meeting on Tuesday. The season series between the Trojans and Bears is currently tied at a game each. UCA won the first game in mid-March in Conway before Little Rock evened the series with a win at Dickey-Stephens Park in late April. Last year at Gary Hogan Field, Little Rock beat UCA in a close 6-5 game.

The Trojans will start right-hander Carter Brown (3-1) on Tuesday night. Brown picked up the win last Tuesday against Northwestern State as he threw a career-high eight innings, struck out four and allowed one run on six hits and two walks. The Bears' starting pitcher has yet to be announced.

  • Little Rock comes into Tuesday night's game with a four-game winning streak — tied for the longest this season.
  • A win would give Little Rock its longest winning streak since March of 2016 as the Trojans won six in a row.
  • A win would also be the Trojans' fourth consecutive against a Southland Conference opponent.
  • Little Rock hasn't won a season series against UCA since 2011.
  • Little Rock will finish the season with a winning record at home for the first time since 2014.
  • Little Rock will return to the Sun Belt Tournament for the second consecutive season — something that hasn't been done since the 2000 and 2001 seasons.
  • The Trojans' 104 doubles are first in the Sun Belt and 26th nationally.
  • Little Rock's pitching staff is allowing 8.56 hits per nine innings — third in the Sun Belt and 59th nationally.
  • Trojan pitchers are just eight strikeouts shy of breaking the program's single-season record of 438 set in 2003.
  • Trojan pitchers are tallying 8.7 strikeouts per nine innings — third in the league and 43rd nationally.
  • Dalton Thomas' 20 doubles are the most in the Sun Belt and 20th most in the nation, and they're tied for the seventh most in a single season in program history.
  • Thomas is five doubles shy of Ryan Scott's program record of 44.
  • Thomas' next double will give him 21 for the season — the most by a Trojan player since 2006.
  • Hunter Owens' 68 hits and 109 total bases rank fourth in the conference.
  • At 30 appearances for the season, Justin Garcia is three shy of tying Ryan McMains' single-season record of 33 set in 2000.
