LITTLE ROCK – This week's preconference tournament is closer to home as Little Rock volleyball (1-2) will compete in the UCA Invitational beginning on Thursday night at the Farris Center in Conway. The Trojans will face in-state foe Central Arkansas (3-0) on Thursday at 7 p.m., UT Martin (1-2) on Friday at 4 p.m., and Memphis (0-3) on Saturday at 10 a.m.

The Trojans last played and defeated the Bears in 2015 at the Oklahoma Nike Invitational. Overall, Little Rock has a 4-2 series lead and has split the past four matches. This will be just the third time Little Rock has ever traveled to Central

Little Rock and UT Martin will face each other for the second consecutive year after the Trojans defeated the Skyhawks in straight sets last season in the Little Rock Invitational. Little Rock is a perfect 6-0 all-time against UT Martin. Friday will be the first time both teams have met on a neutral court since 2012. Of the 21 sets played against each other, the Trojans have won 18.
