LITTLE ROCK – Sun Belt Conference-leading Little Rock women's basketball (10-8, 7-0 Sun Belt) will once again hit the road as it travels to Boone, North Carolina, to face Appalachian State (5-14, 3-5 Sun Belt) on Thursday at the Holmes Convocation Center. The game will air live on ESPN3 at 4 p.m. (CT).
Â
Little Rock is a perfect 7-0 against Appalachian State since their first meeting in Jan. 2015. Last season in Boone, the Trojans defeated the Mountaineers 77-69 to take a 3-0 record when playing at the Holmes Convocation Center. Each of the last two meetings at App State have been decided by 10 points or less.
Â
The Mountaineers come into the weekend with two consecutive losses to South Alabama and Troy on the road. App State has a short week to prepare for Little Rock as it played Troy on Monday after the scheduled Thursday game was postponed due to inclement travel conditions.
