LITTLE ROCK – Sun Belt Conference-leading Little Rock women's basketball (10-8, 7-0 Sun Belt) will once again hit the road as it travels to Boone, North Carolina, to face Appalachian State (5-14, 3-5 Sun Belt) on Thursday at the Holmes Convocation Center. The game will air live on ESPN3 at 4 p.m. (CT).

Little Rock is a perfect 7-0 against Appalachian State since their first meeting in Jan. 2015. Last season in Boone, the Trojans defeated the Mountaineers 77-69 to take a 3-0 record when playing at the Holmes Convocation Center. Each of the last two meetings at App State have been decided by 10 points or less.

The Mountaineers come into the weekend with two consecutive losses to South Alabama and Troy on the road. App State has a short week to prepare for Little Rock as it played Troy on Monday after the scheduled Thursday game was postponed due to inclement travel conditions.

  • Head coach Joe Foley is one win shy of his 300th at Little Rock.
  • Little Rock is 7-0 all-time against Appalachian State and 3-0 when playing in Boone.
  • If Little Rock won and Arkansas State lost to Coastal Carolina on Thursday, Foley would become the Sun Belt's all-time winningest coach for the first time in his career.
  • A win would give Little Rock its first-ever 11-8 start.
  • A Trojan victory would give the team an 8-0 start to Sun Belt play for the third time in program history — all since 2010-11.
  • Little Rock has the 11th-best scoring defense in the nation at 54.9 points allowed per game.
  • In Sun Belt play, the Trojans are allowing just 44.6 points per game — the best in the league.
  • The Trojans are receiving 10 votes in the latest College Insider Mid-Major Top 25 Poll — the most by a Sun Belt team.
  • Little Rock has won 12 consecutive conference games dating back to last season — tied for the fifth-longest streak in Division I.
  • Little Rock's current winning streak of seven games is tied for the 15th longest in Division I.
  • This is just the second time Little Rock has started 10-8 in the Division I era (1999-present).
  • Little Rock's opponents are averaging 31.7 rebounds per game against the Trojans this season — the fewest in the Sun Belt.
  • Ronjanae DeGray is shooting 54.8 percent this season — second in the Sun Belt and 46th-best nationally.
