OPENING SERVE
Little Rock returns to the Jack Stephens Center for the first time in two weeks to host ULM and Louisiana this weekend. The Trojans face the Warhawks Friday, Oct. 12 and the Ragin' Cajuns Saturday, Oct. 13. Both matches are slated to start at 6:30 p.m. Friday's contest will be Pink Night with all proceeds going to Susan G. Komen Little Rock. Tickets to the tilt with ULM will be $3 if you're wearing pink. There will also be a raffle to win a pink jersey signed by the entire team. Raffle entries are $5 per entry, $10 for three or 5 for $20. Only cash will be accepted for the drawing entry.

CONFERENCE GOINGS
Notching a 3-3 record in Sun Belt play thus far, Little Rock sits third in the west division. The Trojans are to thank for Appalachian State's only conference blemish after sweeping the Mountaineers on Oct. 5. The straight set wins are the sixth for Little Rock's Team this season and the first conference sweep since three setting ULM on Sept. 29 2017.

Marin also paces the country in total blocks (124) and has the third best blocks per set average in the nation (1.65).
 
TRIPLE-DOUBLE LINDBERG
Senior setter Taylor Lindberg has proven to be an even greater threat for Little Rock with the implementation of Van Compton's 6-2 offensive scheme in 2018. Lindberg registered her second triple-double of the year against Troy, dishing out 35 assists with 15 kills and 15 digs in leading Little Rock to the win. She has the only two triple-doubles in the Sun Belt Conference this season while ranking eighth nationally.
 
MILESTONE WATCH
A pair of Trojan seniors continue to climb up the charts in the Little Rock record books as Taylor Lindberg and Sydnee Martin each sit near the top of impressive categories. Lindberg ranks third in career assists at 2,765, trailing second-place Iva Adzic (2002-05) by 165 helpers with 10 regular season matches left in the season. Martin upped her career dig total to 1,304, moving past Edina Begic (2011-14) for second all-time on the team's trip to the Carolinas. She is now 321 digs behind Emily Pepperman, who tallied 1,625 during her career.
 
TROJANS AMONG SUN BELT LEADERS
Through three weeks of Sun Belt Conference play, Little Rock ranks among the league leaders in a number of categories. As a team, the Trojans lead the Sun Belt in opponent hitting percentage (.150), blocks per set (2.79), total attacks (2,373), total blocks (187) and total digs (1,190) while ranking second in digs per set (15.87), hitting percentage (0.239), assists (924), and kills (972) and third in assists per set (12.32), kills per set (12.96) and aces (97). Individually, Veronica Marin (.339) is league leader in blocks per set (1.65), total blocks (124) and has the second-best hitting percentage (0.365), while teammate Carol Barbosa has the fourth-best (0.341). Marin also has the third most points (282.5). Taylor Lindberg has collected the most triple-doubles (2) and has served the sixth most aces (24). Sydnee Martin has the fourth most digs at a mark of 299.
