OPENING SERVE
Little Rock hits the road to Arkansas State after playing just its third and fourth home game of the 2018 season last week. The match, set for a 6:30 first serve on Oct. 20 at the FNB Arena in Jonesboro, Ark., will be the 60th meeting between the two programs, continuing the longest series in program history.

CONFERENCE GOINGS
The Trojans have put together a 5-3 conference record at the halfway point of Sun Belt play and sit third behind Texas State and UTA in the West Division. Little Rock's team is coming off back-to-back conference sweeps against ULM and Louisiana, the first consecutive straight setters in conference play since 2015.

THE TROJAN WALL
Paced by the effort of Veronica Marin this season, Little Rock ranks among the national leaders in a handful of defensive categories. The Trojans sit second nationally in total blocks (229), seventh for opponent hitting percentage (.151) and rank 10th in blocks per set (2.83). Marin also paces the country in total blocks (137) and has the second best blocks per set average in the nation (1.69).

TRIPLE-DOUBLE LINDBERG
Senior setter Taylor Lindberg has proven to be an even greater threat for Little Rock with the implementation of Van Compton's 6-2 offensive scheme in 2018. Lindberg registered her second triple-double of the year against Troy, dishing out 35 assists with 15 kills and 15 digs in leading Little Rock to the win. She has the only two triple-doubles in the Sun Belt Conference this season while ranking 10th nationally.

MILESTONE WATCH
A pair of Trojan seniors continue to climb up the charts in the Little Rock record books as Taylor Lindberg and Sydnee Martin each sit near the top of impressive categories. Lindberg ranks third in career assists at 2,800, trailing second-place Iva Adzic (2002-05) by 130 helpers with eight regular season matches left in the season. Martin has collected 1,326 career digs, moving past Edina Begic (2011-14) for second all-time on the team's trip to the Carolinas. She is now 297 digs behind Emily Pepperman, who tallied 1,625 during her career.

TROJANS AMONG SUN BELT LEADERS
Through four weeks of Sun Belt Conference play and the last half of the season remaining, Little Rock ranks among the league leaders in a number of categories. As a team, the Trojans lead the Sun Belt in opponent hitting percentage (.151), blocks per set (2.83) and total blocks (229) while ranking second in hitting percentage (0.244), digs (1,279) and attacks (2,880) and third in assists per set (12.56), kills per set (13.20) and team assists (1,017). Individually, Veronica Marin (.339) is league leader in blocks per set (1.69), total blocks (137) and hitting percentage (0.375), while teammate Carol Barbosa has the third-best (0.368). Marin also has the third most points (309.5). Taylor Lindberg has collected the most triple-doubles (2) and has served the sixth most aces (25).
