Box Score BATON ROUGE - The Little Rock Trojans (2-3) were topped 60-45 by the LSU Tigers (4-1) Sunday afternoon in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

Ronjanae DeGray and
Yanina Inkina led the team in scoring with 14 points, DeGray having marked double-digit scoring figures in every game this season, and Battle paced the team with 10 rebounds. She set a new career high on the glass in the contest, grabbing double-digit rebounds for the first time in her career.

In her first career start,
Kiara Scott recorded a career-high seven points, also logging a career-high 38 minutes.

Little Rock got the first bucket of the contest, doing so for the fourth time this season, when Battle marched through the paint for a layup. LSU would make it to the line on their next possession, only making one shot, and would then foul Inkina on the Trojans next trip down the court.

With the score at 3-1 after the free throws, the Tigers would tie it up at 3-3. The contest would be tied one more time, 5-5, after the squads traded shots on consecutive possessions. LSU would break the tie at 7-5 at the 7:22 mark of the first quarter, holding onto the lead for the rest of the game.

Little Rock would stay within an arm's reach of the Tigers, keeping themselves within single-digits, but LSU would create enough separation at 6:34 of the third quarter to pull ahead by double-digits for the remainder of the contest.
