Nashville, Conway Added to Trojans' 2018-19 Travels

LITTLE ROCK – Little Rock has finalized two more non-conference road trips for 2018-19, sending the Trojans to Music City while making the yearly trip up I-40. Little Rock will play at Tennessee State on Tuesday, November 13, then will make the trip to Conway for the showdown at Central Arkansas on Wednesday, November 28.

2018-19 Little Rock Men's Basketball Schedule

Little Rock's trip to the Gentry Center in Nashville marks just the second meeting between the two teams as Tennessee State earned a 62-60 victory over the Trojans on December 5, 1992, in Springfield, Missouri, as part of a tournament hosted by Southeast Mississippi State. It will be the Trojans' first trip to Tennessee's capital city since taking on Vanderbilt in 1996.

The Trojans then begin their four-game schedule as part of the Continental Tires Las Vegas Holiday Classic, traveling to Nevada and Tulsa before a pair of home games on Thanksgiving weekend. That leads into the first game of the home-and-home series with rival Central Arkansas, taking place Wednesday, November 28 at the Farris Center in Conway.

A rivalry series that dates back to 1930, the Trojans and Bears have met 35 times with UCA holding a 24-11 edge in the all-time series. Little Rock had won 11-straight games between the two, dating back to the 1981-82 season, until UCA's victory in Conway last season, its first over the Trojans since 1974.

Season tickets for the 2018-19 Little Rock men's and women's basketball season are now on sale by contacting the Trojan ticket office at 565-8257. Group experiences are also available with flex plans and single-game tickets being offered as the season draws closer.

Little Rock's 2018-19 schedule continues to take shape as the remainder of the slate will be released in the coming weeks.
