OPENING SERVE
Little Rock puts its three-match winning streak on the line in the Lone Star state this week, beginning a four-match road trip in Texas. The Trojans travel to San Marcos to face reigning West Division champion Texas State on Friday, September 28, before heading north to take on UT Arlington on Saturday, September 29.

REPEAT HONOR FOR MARIN
After logging 23 blocks with 24 kills in the wins over South Alabama and Troy, senior
Veronica Marin was tabbed the Sun Belt's Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season. Marin posted 13 total blocks against the Jaguars, tied for the second-most in a match in program history, then added 10 more against the Alabama Trojans, recording a double-double in both matches. Marin ranks among the national leaders in blocking, sitting second in the NCAA in total blocks (94) while ranking third nationally in blocks per set (1.62).

Paced by the effort of
Veronica Marin this season, Little Rock ranks among the national leaders in a handful of defensive categories. The Trojans sit fourth nationally in both total blocks (162) and opponent hitting percentage (.137), ranking 15th in blocks per set (2.79) and 24th in team assists (728).

TRIPLE-DOUBLE LINDBERG
Senior setter
Taylor Lindberg has proven to be an even greater threat for Little Rock with the implementation of
Van Compton's 6-2 offensive scheme in 2018. Lindberg registered her second triple-double of the year againt Troy, dishing out 35 assists with 15 kills and 15 digs in leading Little Rock to the win. She has the only two triple-doubles in the Sun Belt Conference this season while ranking fourth nationally.

MILESTONE WATCH
A pair of Trojan seniors continue to climb up the charts in the Little Rock record books as
Taylor Lindberg and
Sydnee Martin each sit third in impressive categories. Lindberg ranks third in career assists at 2,664, trailing second-place Iva Adzic (2002-05) by 260 helpers heading into the weekend. Lindberg upped her career dig total to 1,254, moving to within 42 of Edina Begic (2011-14) for second all-time.

Through the first week of Sun Belt Conference play, Little Rock ranks among the league leaders in a number of categories. As a team, the Trojans lead the Sun Belt in hitting percentage (.249), opponent hitting percentage (.137) and blocks per set (2.79) while ranking second in digs per set (15.93) and third in kills per set (13.28), assists per set (12.55) and service aces per set (1.36). Individually,
Carol Barbosa (.347) and
Veronica Marin (.339) sit second and fourth, respectively, in hitting percentage with Marin leading the league in both total blocks (94) and blocks per set (1.62) and
