LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Diana Giordani registered 16 digs and three different Trojans put down eight kills but Little Rock dropped a 3-0 decision to Coastal Carolina Friday night at the Jack Stephens Center.
The Trojans (2-15, 0-5 Sun Belt) fell prey to a strong serving game by Coastal Carolina (15-2, 5-0) as nationally-leading Chanticleers served up nine aces in the match. Set scores were 25-9, 25-22 and 25-15.
The Chanticleers were paced by the 14 kills from Anett Nemeth and the four service aces by Jelena Prolic.
