LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock's men finished as runners-up behind a runner-up individual finish while the women used four individual top-20 finishes to propel them to a third-place finish at the Little Rock Open at War Memorial Park Saturday morning.

Carter Reynolds ran 26:11.7 to finish second overall – a season-best finish for the sophomore – in an impressive finish amidst a tough course and competitive field. The Trojan men posted three in the top-15 and four in the top-20 overall while scoring 56 points overall to finish second as a team.
The women also placed four runners in the top-20 as
Jordan Edwards led the pack with a time of 19:17.4 to finish 11
th overall, pushing the women to a third-place team finish.
Back on the men's side,
Emilio Medina and
Ricardo Banks II challenged each other down the final stretch with Media's season-best time of 27:01.2 barely edging out Banks's time of 27:01.6 as the pair finished 11
th and 12
th, respectively.
Jarred O'Connor ran a season-best tie of 27:41.6 to finish 17
th overall.
Little Rock's women also had a similar finish as
Vianney Sanchez ran 19:42.2 to place 13
th and was immediately followed by the 19:43.0 time by
Hunter Paul, placing 14
th.
Ariana Garcia rounded out a quartet of top-20 finishes, running 20:13.0 to place 20
th.
The Little Rock Open rounded out the regular season for the Trojans. Now the teams will turn their attention to the Sun Belt Conference Championships set for Nov. 2 in Hampton, Georgia.
