HAMPTON, Ga. – Ricardo Banks II led Little Rock's men with a season-best time while the Trojan women were led by
Vianney Sanchez's season-best time at the 2019 Sun Belt Cross Country Championships Saturday morning.
The men's team improved three spots on last year's performance to finish seventh thanks to the team's five scoring runners finishing in the top 50 while the women posted a ninth-place finish.

Banks II ran 26:08.1 to place 31
st, up 21 spots from last year's championship race while
Carter Reynolds's (26:19.1) finish of 37
th is 25 spots better than his finish of 62
nd at last year's championship.
Emilio Medina's time of 26:30 is a minute better than last year as he finished 40
th while
Jarred O'Connor (46
th, 26:48.9) and
Colby Swecker (47
th, 27:00.9) both ran season-best times as well.
On the women's side, Sanchez posted her season-best time of 19:04.5 to finish 36
th while
Jordan Edwards followed in 46
th place, running 19:15.7.
Hunter Paul ran a season-best time of 19:19.9 to finish 49
th while
Ariana Garcia ran 19:31.3 to finish 52
nd. Amanda Gordan capped off Little Rock's scoring five with a time of 20:06.9, placing 59
th.
