LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock finally returns home and will start a homestand that will span almost the entire month of December when the Trojans host Louisiana Tech Monday night.
Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m. with ESPN+ carrying the action while Trey Schaap will have the call on the Little Rock Trojans Radio Network (920 AM The Sports Animal).
Monday's tilt starts a run of three consecutive games at the Jack Stephens Center for Little Rock before the Trojans head to Simmons Bank Arena in North Little Rock for a Dec. 21 match-up against No. 25/24 Arkansas.
Series History
Little Rock trails the all-time series with Louisiana Tech, 9-4, but the two teams have evenly split the six meetings in Little Rock, 3-3. The Trojans recorded a nice win in last year's 69-58 final in Ruston.
Five Things to Know
- You'll See Familiar Faces in The Jack on Monday
Think you've seen those faces before? If you're talking about Louisiana Tech co-head coaches Brooke and Scott Stoehr, you are correct. The Stoehrs were a part of the Little Rock coaching staff from 2003-2005 on one of Joe Foley's earliest Little Rock staffs and helped coach current Little Rock assistant coach Alicia Cash when she was an All-Sun Belt Conference player.

- C-U.S(oon).A.
See you soon, C-USA. Monday's game against Louisiana Tech is part of a string of three straight games for the Trojans against Conference USA (C-USA) opponents. With games at Florida Atlantic (Nov. 21), at Western Kentucky (Nov. 24) and back at home against Louisiana Tech (Dec. 2), the Trojans will get a good test against a broad spectrum of C-USA schools, having already faced C-USA Preseason favorite Rice. That should be a good test for the Trojans as C-USA finished just behind the Sun Belt Conference in the conference RPI rankings, coming in at 13th (.4963) while the Sun Belt finished 12th last year (.5003).
- Consistent Force
If you think you're seeing a lot of Kyra Collier - and that's a thought that should trouble Little Rock opponents - then you are not wrong. Not only has she played the full 40 minutes over three of the last three games (LSU, Central Arkansas, WKU), she enters this week's action leading the Sun Belt and ranking seventh nationally in minutes played per game (38.75) and 93rd nationally in total minutes played (232:31).
- Maybe it's Something in the Water
Think Kyra Collier's minutes played numbers are impressive? Ain't nothing but a Little Rock thing. Collier is joined in the national top-10 rankings in minutes played per game by Little Rock's Markquis Nowell on the men's side. Nowell currently ranks third in the nation with an average of 39.05 minutes played per game while his total minutes played, 351.49, leads the nation.
- Little Rock Hosting an Historic Program
Louisiana Tech will travel to the Jack Stephens Center Monday for the contest against Little Rock and that will mark one of the sport's most historic programs making a visit to the Natural State's capital city. LA Tech enters the game with 1,127 wins in program history, a mark that ranks third in the NCAA record books. Only Tennessee (1,369) and UConn (1,159) have more wins in program history. With LA Tech making a visit, that means two of of the three winningest programs in the sport's history will travel to the Jack Stephens Center over a span of three years. LA Tech makes a trip to The Jack on Dec. 2, 2019 while UConn is scheduled to make an appearance at The Jack in 2021. Tennessee, which has the most wins for any program in the nation, has never squared off on the hardwood against Little Rock.
