Renee Renz Named to Little Rock 20th Anniversary Team

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock is honoring the modern era of its women's basketball program with the unveiling of its 20^th Anniversary Team recognizing the best of the best of the past 20 years. The Sun Belt's 2006 Freshman of the Year, Renee Renz, is the next to be recognized.
 
A two-year letterwinner, Renz registered 48 blocked shots in her rookie year to set the program's all-time single season record. That mark, along with strong play in the paint, garnered her Freshman of the Year honors in the Sun Belt Conference and paved the way for her to rank sixth in school history with 75 career blocked shots. She averaged 10.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game during her career at Little Rock.

In all, there will be 20 players announced as part of the Little Rock Women's Basketball 20^th Anniversary Team. Members of the team will be announced periodically throughout December and January leading up to the Trojans' Jan. 18 game against Arkansas State, where the entire team will be recognized during the game.
