LITTLE ROCK- The Trojans will return to Sun Belt Conference action when they head to Statesboro, Ga. to take on Georgia Southern in a three-game series starting March 22 at 5:30 CT.

Little Rock is currently 6-15 (1-2 Sun Belt) after a midweek loss to No. 2 Mississippi State. The Trojans started well, scoring four runs in the first inning, but would allow 15 unanswered runs to fall to their SEC opponents. In their previous conference series, Little Rock took the season opener, but fell in games two and three, dropping to 1-2 in Sun Belt play.

Fidel's Dominance
Chandler Fidel led the Trojans to their first conference win with his complete game in the series opener. The junior tossed nine innings, allowing one earned run while punching out seven Ragin' Cajuns. Fidel kept the Louisiana bats in check all night, surrendering only three hits.

Scouting Georgia Southern
The Eagles come into this weekend's series with a 10-9 record (2-1 Sun Belt) in their first 19 games. Georgia Southern has won three straight contests and are coming off a series victory against UT Arlington and a midweek win at The Citadel. The Eagles have posted a .260 team batting average with 11 home runs. Nolan Tressler and Steven Curry are the only Eagles above the .300 mark. Their pitching staff has been fairly solid to this point, registering an impressive 3.85 team ERA. Hayden Harris has been fantastic on the mound, as he has posted a 1.06 ERA in 17.0 innings of work.

Midweek Matchup
After this conference series, the Trojans will travel to Tulsa, Okla. to meet Oral Roberts in a single midweek game on Tuesday. First pitch with the Summit League opponent is set for 6 p.m. on March 26.
