Little Rock is currently 7-17 (2-4 Sun Belt) after a series loss to Georgia Southern. The Trojans nearly mounted a comeback in game one, but fell in extra innings. In game two, Little Rock put together a successful comeback and pulled off the extra-innings victory. The Eagles used a five-run ninth inning to clinch the 15-10 win in the series finale.

Gann's Power Surge
James Gann has blasted six home runs in his last 10 games. During that span, the senior has racked up seven multi-hit games, including two three-hit performances. Gann is currently leading the team in RBI (19) and slugging percentage (.667) despite only having 69 at-bats on the year. He is also one of two Trojans hitting above the .300-mark, sitting at .319.

The Golden Eagles come into this weekend's series with a 10-11 record (4-2 Summit League) in 21 games. Oral Roberts has lost three of their last four games and are coming off a series loss to South Dakota State. The Golden Eagles have posted a .262 team batting average with 22 home runs thus far. Spencer Henson and Hunter Wilson are each hitting at a .379 clip. Their pitching staff has registered a 5.39 team ERA. Josh McMinn has been the most effective starter, recording a 3.98 ERA in his six starts.

After this midweek matchup, the Trojans will host Georgia State for a three-game set starting Friday, March 29. First pitch with the Panthers is scheduled for 6 p.m. at Gary Hogan Field.
