LITTLE ROCK- After a four-game road trip, the Trojans will return to Gary Hogan Field to host South Dakota State for a four-game series starting March 8 at 3 p.m.

Little Rock is currently 2-10 on the season and just narrowly fell to No. 10 Ole Miss in their previous contest. A late comeback came up just short in the Trojans' 11-8 loss to the Rebels in Oxford.

Production off the Bench
Josh Nowak has been exceptional in his pinch-hitting opportunities, going 5-10 in his plate appearances when coming off the bench. Nowak has also tallied four RBI and a walk during his substituted at-bats.

Scouting South Dakota State
Summit League opponent South Dakota State come into Tuesday's contest with a 5-5 record in their first 10 games. The Jackrabbits have won two of their last three games and are coming off a win at Central Arkansas. Two Jackrabbits are hitting above the .300 mark, including Logan Holtz who is hitting .385 with two home runs and seven RBI. As a team, South Dakota State has posted a .258 average while hitting 10 home runs. Their pitching staff has been able to keep them in most of their contests as they have recorded a team ERA of 4.29. Bret Barnett and Cody Carlson have carried the load on the mound, posting 0.00 and 1.93 ERA's respectively.

After this weekend series, the Trojans will drive up I-40 to Conway where they will meet in-state rival Central Arkansas March 12 at 6 p.m.
