LAFAYETTE, La.- Kyra Collier and
Tori Lasker led the way with 17 points while double-doubles from
Ronjanae DeGray and
Terrion Moore led Little Rock to a 62-49 win over Louisiana Thursday night in Lafayette.

Ro. DeGray earned her ninth career double-double (12 points, 12 rebounds) in the contest and Moore posted 11 points and 10 rebounds for her second double-double. Lasker also tallied 17 points on the night.

Lasker kicked off the scoring for the Trojans by going coast-to-coast and finishing with a layup to get her team on the board. The hosts put together a decent run to start the game and held a 10-6 lead just before the five-minute mark in the opening period. Lasker finished an acrobatic layup while taking contact from the Louisiana defender to complete a three-point play and tie the score at 14 just before the horn to signal the end of the first quarter. The sophomore would have seven points at the end of the first 10 minutes while Little Rock shot a mere 38.5 percent.

Louisiana would start the second quarter on an 8-0 run after the Trojans went nearly four minutes without scoring. Consecutive driving layups from Lasker brought Little Rock within three as she continued to pace her team offensively. Back-to-back free throw line jumpers from Collier helped spark a 6-0 run that resulted in a Trojan lead. Despite a 13-2 Little Rock run towards the end of the half, the Ragin' Cajuns took a 28-27 lead into the break after shooting 48 percent from the floor.

Jumpers from Ro. DeGray and Collier gave the Trojans the lead early in the third quarter. A three-point play from Ro. DeGray extended the lead to four points just under the seven-minute mark in the third quarter. Collier would reach double figures in the quarter to match Lasker with 11. Little Rock would lead by as much as seven in the third period, but Louisiana would not go away and the Trojans would take a 43-41 lead going into the final quarter.

Ro. DeGray opened up the fourth quarter with a three-point play to give herself 11 points on the night. Another mid-range jumper from Collier extended the Trojan lead to seven points. Lasker finally knocked down her first three-pointer of the day just before the six-minute mark and a fastbreak layup from Collier extended the lead to 15-points after a 10-0 run. Lasker made another three with just under a minute left to seal the 62-49 victory for Little Rock.

The Trojans will cap off their regular season conference schedule when they head to Monroe, La. March 9 at 2 p.m. for a chance at clinching a share of the conference title.
