LITTLE ROCK- The Trojans look to notch six consecutive Sun Belt Conference series victories when they head to Mobile, Ala. for a three-game set with South Alabama starting May 3 at 6:30 p.m.

Little Rock is currently 21-22 (13-7 Sun Belt) after a series win over Troy. The Trojans took two out of three games using a solid performance from
Ryan Benavidez and great starts from
Chandler Fidel and
Jose Torres. Benavidez was 7-for-12 in the series, hitting his sixth home run of the year. Fidel nearly went the distance in the series opener, picking up his fifth win of the season while Torres took a perfect game into the sixth inning of the series finale.

Benavidez's Big Week
Ryan Benavidez was extremely productive last week, beginning with a 3-for-3 performance in the series opener against Troy. The senior scored two runs and drew a walk in the contest. Benavidez went on to go 2-for-5 in game two, notching a double. In game three, Benavidez went 2-for-4 with a clutch home run that would prove to be the difference in the Trojans' 4-3 win to clinch the series victory.

Scouting South Alabama
The Jaguars come into this weekend's series with a 22-22 record (9-12 Sun Belt) and currently sit in fifth place of the East Division of the Sun Belt. South Alabama lost two out of three games against East Division-leaders Georgia Southern. The Jaguars have posted a .259 team batting average with 41 home runs. Ethan Wilson leads the way with a .329 average and 12 doubles and 12 home runs. Their pitching staff has registered a 4.88 team ERA to this point. Drake Nightengale leads the starting rotation with a 4.03 ERA and 4-2 record in his nine starts.

Midweek Matchup
The Trojans will host Oral Roberts for a midweek game at Gary Hogan Field. The rematch with the Summit League opponent is set for 6 p.m. on May 7.
