Non-Conference Slate Announced for Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – The 2019-20 non-conference schedule for Little Rock's Women's Basketball team has been announced, a slate that features six top-100 RPI teams, five post season teams and three teams with 25 or more wins from a year ago.

The Trojans will open the 2019-20 season at Texas A&M on Nov. 5 against an Aggie squad that reached the Sweet 16 in the NCAA Tournament last year before heading to Rice for a Nov. 9 contest against an Owls squad that won 28 games last year.
 
Little Rock will open its home slate against LSU on Saturday, Nov. 16 in a game that will be broadcast on CST while being simulcast on the Watch ESPN app. Other broadcast information will be announced at a later date.
 
The Governor's I-40 Showdown presented by Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Arkansas will tip-off at the Jack Stephens Center on Saturday, Nov. 16 when the Trojans play host to Central Arkansas.
 
After a pair of road games at Florida Atlantic and Western Kentucky, the three-game stretch of Conference USA opponents will continue at home when Louisiana Tech visits Little Rock. That also starts a three-game stretch of home games with Tulsa (Dec. 7) and Memphis (Dec. 17) visit The Natural State's capital city.
 
Remaining in the area but heading to Verizon Arena, Little Rock's Team will face Arkansas on Dec. 21 before rounding out the non-conference schedule against Mississippi State, a team that reached the Elite 8 last year.
 
This completes a schedule that will feature 14 games at the Jack Stephens Center for Little Rock's Team throughout the 2019-20 season.
