Joe Foley Rounds Out Little Rock 20th Anniversary Team

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Little Rock is honoring the modern era of its women's basketball program with the unveiling of its 20^th Anniversary Team recognizing the best of the best of the past 20 years. The man that has made all the success over the last 20 years happen, Joe Foley, rounds out our 20^th Anniversary Team.
 
The five-time Sun Belt Conference Coach of the Year and 2010 WBCA Regional Coach of the Year has led the Trojans to 20-win season in 11 of the last 12 years. He has guided Little Rock to outright Sun Belt Conference West Division titles in the final six years the league had divisions, three conference regular season championships and postseason appearances in 10 of the last 11 years – including six NCAA berth – along with Sun Belt Conference Tournament titles in 2011, 2012, 2015, 2018 and 2019.
 
In his 16 years at Little Rock, Foley has compiled the most overall wins (29) and conference victories (18) in a season while producing the school's first All-Sun Belt Conference selection in Alicia Cash in 2004. He also recruited back-to-back Sun Belt Conference Freshman of the Year winners in Renee Renz (2006) and Kim Sitzmann (2007). No other Sun Belt Conference school has achieved this feat. Foley also coached the school's first-ever Honorable Mention All-America honoree in Chastity Reed in 2010. His Trojan student-athletes have earned 23 All-Conference selections.

In all, there will be 20 players announced as part of the Little Rock Women's Basketball 20^th Anniversary Team. Members of the team will be announced periodically throughout December and January leading up to the Trojans' Jan. 18 game against Arkansas State, where the entire team will be recognized during the game.
