LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – For the first time this young and unconventional season, the Trojans will hit the road. Little Rock Volleyball will head up to Jonesboro for a pair of Sun Belt Conference matches this weekend starting Friday evening.

But developing a scouting report on the Red Wolves won't be easy. Thanks to adjusted schedules, postponements and cancellations, Arkansas State (0-0) will be making its first appearance on the court this season while Little Rock (0-4, 0-3 Sun Belt) will be making its fifth.

A young, but competitive, Little Rock team that pushed Louisiana in thrilling fashion last week faces an Arkansas State team that, while it hasn't played this season, returns a large core of last year's squad.

- Welcome to 2020
Arkansas State will be making its first appearance on a court this season when Little Rock visits Jonesboro. That means the Trojans will have the benefit of having actual playing time in a match but the deterrent of having no film from which to scout this Arkansas State team.
- Maher of Little Rock
Little Rock's Leigh Maher (pronounced: MAYOR) has made her presence known in Sun Belt play, claiming back-to-back Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week honors. She enters this week's action ranked fourth in the nation and leading the league in digs per set (6.64) and seventh nationally in total digs (93).
- The Trojans will Go the Distance
Little Rock refuses to give up. Louisiana learned that lesson the hard way, despite escaping with a trio of wins. The Trojans for extra points in three sets last weekend against the Ragin' Cajuns, including a dramatic 37-35 set that opened the weekend. That marked the second-longest set in Little Rock history.
