Series History
- UTA has a slight 17-14 lead in the overall series
- Little Rock has a 4-3 advantage when playing at home
Three Things to Know
- Welcome to the Future
Little Rock will be welcoming UT Arlington to the 2020 season as the Mavs will be playing their first matches of the season. UTA has been unable to play to date due to an abundance of caution surrounding theirs and their opponents COVID testing and contact tracing.
- Embracing 20/20
While most people are ready for 2020 to be over, Laura Jansen is embracing the number. Through six matches so far this season, the junior outside hitter has posted 20-plus kills and 20-plus digs in three contests, including both matches last weekend at Arkansas State. For that effort, she was named the Sun Belt's Offensive Player of the Week.
- Dug In
Little Rock's defensive effort has been impressive this year. If opposing hitters get past the Trojan Wall (ranking sixth nationally in blocks), then they will find a Little Rock defense that ranks second in the nation in digs per game (17.59) and total digs (387).
