Five Things to Know
- Power of Pink
Little Rock will be joined by six breast cancer survivors Saturday starting with standing with the Trojans during the National Anthem. Those six survivors will be recognized throughout the game.
- Trojans Can Shoot
It's just past the midpoint in the Sun Belt schedule but as we prepare to make the turn, Little Rock is proving to be an offensive threat in conference play. The Trojans are shooting .437 (276 of 631) in league games this season to rank second the Sun Belt Conference.
- While Limiting Opponents
At the same time, teams are finding it hard to get to the basket against the Trojans. Little Rock is allowing just 55.25 ppg in conference play, a mark that leads the Sun Belt Conference.
- Damaging Duo
When Little Rock is successful this season, it is because of the damage that the duo of Kyra Collier and Teal Battle can inflect on teams. When those two players combine to score 30 points or more this season, the Trojans have a 6-3 mark.
- Is the Third Time the Charm?
Little Rock Head Coach Joe Foley will get a third shot at his 800th win when the Trojans host UT Arlington on Saturday. The Mavericks, who beat the Trojans earlier this season, could be a milestone win for the legendary head coach if Little Rock can come out on top.
