LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – On Saturday, following Little Rock's final regular season game at the Jack Stephens Center, the school will honor its senior class. The Trojans hope to be celebrating more than just their seniors after the game is over.
Â
That is because Little Rock is vying to host the first two rounds of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament. The Trojans enter the final day of regular season play in a tie for that last host spot alongside Louisiana.
Â
Saturday's game is set to tip-off at 2 p.m. with Ben Creighton and
Raeyana DeGray on the call. Trojan fans can listen to the action courtesy of Trey Schaap and Ron Jumper on the Little Rock Trojans Radio Network (920AM The Sports Animal).

Five Things to Know
- It All Comes Down to This
Saturday's game between Little Rock and South Alabama is pivotal for both teams, but home court advantage is on the line for the Trojans. With a win, Little Rock will clinch the No. 4 seed and will host the first two rounds of the Sun Belt Tournament at the Jack Stephens Center. The Trojans could still host with a loss Saturday, but would need some help. Let's not let it come to that.
- Senior Swan Song
With one game left at the Jack Stephens Center this year (at least, in the regular season), this could potentially mark the final game that Kyra Collier and Sydney Chastain will play in their careers in Little Rock. More than just sending the senior class out on a high note, the Trojans will be fighting to keep them around for at least one more home game with a chance to host the opening two rounds of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament.
- Paint By Numbers
For Little Rock, it all comes down to the paint. The Trojans are 9-2 this year when out-rebounding their opponent but just 2-15 when getting out-rebounded. And when getting those rebounds, scoring in the paint is critical as well. Little Rock is 7-1 when scoring more points in the paint but just 4-16 when scoring fewer or the same amount of points in the paint.
- Damaging Duo
When Little Rock is successful this season, it is because of the damage that the duo of Kyra Collier and Teal Battle can inflect on teams. When those two players combine to score 30 points or more this season, the Trojans have a 7-3 mark.
- Battle for Blocks
Entering Saturday's game, Little Rock ranks 21st in the nation by allowing just a 5.5% opponent block rate. But that will be tested mightily Thursday as South Alabama enters the contest with one of the best blocking players in the league. Antoinette Lewis ranks 40th nationally in both blocked shots (57) and blocks per game (1.97), rating second in the Sun Belt in both categories.
