Sun Belt Preseason Projections Announced

New Orleans – The Sun Belt Conference has announced its 2020 preseason projections and an uncommon year has Little Rock in an uncommon position.

The Trojans, a young squad boasting 10 newcomers, was picked to finish fifth in the league's West Division.

Little Rock's placement so low is uncommon for the storied program that nine Sun Belt titles and six postseason appearances but Van Compton, the Sun Belt's all-time winningest coach, is in the process of a rebuild that has the Trojans poised to return to the top of the stack.

The 2020 season will be uncommon due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic with league members playing a divisional-only scheduling format with three-game single-opponent series each weekend of play.
